The story of Helen’s Hill began long before a vine was ever planted in Coldstream. It’s a story of two families with a love of farming and wine running deep in their veins. Having been dragged away from the land, they had always yearned to return to the life that created the fond memories of their youthful years.

Inspired by classics, favourite treats and our Yarra Valley surrounds, our collection of over 250 different chocolate products contain fruits and nuts picked from our orchard and herbs from our kitchen garden, locally sourced milk and the best quality single origin and Belgian couverture chocolate and cocoa butter.

Greenstone Vineyards was established in 2003 as a 40-ha property near the town of Colbinabbin in the renowned Heathcote region of Victoria by global industry leaders David Gleave MW (Liberty Wines UK), Alberto Antonini (Poggiotondo) & renowned Australian viticulturist Mark Walpole. Collectively, they recognised the site being ideal for Shiraz and Sangiovese.

Coldstream Brewery is owned by lifelong mates Mike and Rohan. Born two weeks apart in the same hospital and attending the same kindergarten at the age of four – they quickly became best friends. They grew up in the same country town in Gippsland and have remained friends throughout their lives.

The first vineyard was established on the Stefani family farm in Healesville in 1998. With substantial plantings in the years that followed, the project has grown and now includes a small winery, storage and bottling facility allowing all aspects of the winemaking process to occur on-site. With a focus on family heritage they strive to produce wines of significance that express place and time, both past and present.

Balgownie Estate is a 5-star winery as rated by Halliday Wine Companion, and stocks the full range of Balgownie wine produced from 17 acres of Yarra Valley vineyards and 70 acres of grapevines at our Bendigo winery (where our wine journey began back in 1969).
